Notes: Lulu showed up at one of our volunteers door step in Puerto Rico as if she knew, that was the place to be after being abandoned by her owner and left to fend for herself. She is one of the happiest, playful and sweetest dog we ever rescued. She loves everybody, loves attention from people and her K-9 friends and is a joy to have around.

	Name: Canela - ADOPTED Age: 9 months Breed: Corgi Mix Sex: Female Available: Now
Notes: This sweet girl was spotted tied up in someone's backyard in Puerto Rico, alone, hungry and scared. He owners moved and left this little girl to starve. Canela (Cinnamon) is about one year old, weighs 16 lbs. and is now a happy, playful and loving little dog. She gets along with all other dogs large and small.

Notes: Ella was rescued from the streets in Puerto Rico where she had been abandoned and left to fend for herself. She was very frightened, hungry and very happy to be rescued. She is shy at first but warms up to kindness. Ella is sweet, loving and gets along with all other dogs.

	Name: Nieve - ADOPTED Age: 4 Months Breed: Terrier Mix Sex: Male Available: Now
Notes: Nieve (snow) was found on the side of the road in Puerto Rico and his mother was nowhere in sight. This little boy faced certain death and was in desperate need to be rescued. Nieve is now about four months old, weighs 8.5 lbs. and is happy, healthy, playful and very sweet.

Notes: Pico was rescued out of a desperate situation. This poor boy was not accepted by the families larger dog. He already had part of his ear bitten off. He is save now in one of our foster homes until he finds a home of his own. Pico is very sweet. He loves to play with other dogs and is fine with cats.

	Name: Peggy Age: 1 Year Breed: Chihuahua Mix Sex: Female Available: Now
Notes: Peggy was spotted in the parking lot behind a post office in Puerto Rico where she had been abandoned and left to fend for herself. She ended up in tangeled in wire and branches and faced certain death.Peggy was in desperate need to be rescued. She is now a playful, loving and sweet little girl in search of a home of her own.

	Name: Blanca - ADOPTED Age: 11 Months Breed: Whirehaired Ter Sex: Female Available: Now
Notes: Blanca is a very sweet, affectionate, playful girl who gets along with everybody.

	Name: Pina - ADOPTION PENDING Age: 18 Months Breed: Poodle/Maltese Sex: Female Available: Now
Notes: Pina's owner in Puerto Rico no longer wanted her when it was discovered, she was pregnant. Now wondering the streets trying to survive, this little girl was very frightened, alone and her future looked grim. She was rescued by one of our volunteers and now she is happy, outgoing, sweet , playful and loving. All she needs now is a home of her own.

	Name: Flor Age: 2 Years Breed: Chihuahua Mix Sex: Female Available: Now
Notes: Flor was put on the street in Puerto Rico by her owner when he discovered Flor was pregnant. She was left to fend for herself but faced certain death due to her tiny size. Flor was very happy to be rescued and is now a happy little girl ready to start the life she deserves. Flor is shy at first but warms up to kindness.

To adopt any of our dogs please fill out an adoption form and indicate which dog(s) you are interested in. Please be advised that filling out an adoption form is not a contract or agreement of you adopting that pet. It's purpose is to obtain information and find a suitable home that BEST matches that particular animal. Adoption fees range from $150 to $450 depending on care provided to the pet, i.e.; spaying/neutering vaccinations. Please know that the adoption fee only covers part of the cost we spend for these animals. Most of these dogs do travel from Puerto Rico to their new homes.
