Notes: Julia and her sister were spotted in the streets of Puerto Rico where they had been abandoned and left to fend for themselves. Julia came right up to our volunteer and more seemed very happy to be rescued. He sister took a little longer for her trust to return. Julia is now a happy, healthy, playful and very sweet little girl in need of a home of her own.

Name: Peaches Age: 6 Years Breed: Orange Tabby Sex: Female Available: Now

Notes: Peaches was adopted by a family from Puerto Rico while they were in the military. When they were transfered, they left poor Peaches behind. The neighbors took her in and now cannot keep her any longer. Poor Peaches finds herself looking for a home once again. She is about six years old, mellow, gets along with all other animals including dogs of all sizes. She loves to find a sunny spot and just relax. Peaches is friendly and affectionate.

Notes: Marian was spotted on the streets of Puerto Rico by one of our volunteers, hungry and very scared. Marian is still a little shy at first but once she trusts you, she is sweet, loyal and affectionate. Marian needs someone who understands her needs and builds up her confidence and trust. She is about 18 months old and weighs 16 pounds.

Notes: Sweetie was spotted hiding under the trucks in Puerto Rico and with no food available to her, she was slowly starving to death. She was in desperate need to be rescued and medical care. When our volunteer approached her, she was so hungry that she came running out at the first smell of food. Sweetie, like her name has always been and is exceptionally sweet, loving and affectionate. She is about eight months old and weighs 10 lbs.

	Name: Mila Age: 18 months Breed: Spaniel/Terrier Sex: Female Available: Now
Notes: Mila. was found begging for food at the guardhouse of a factory in Puerto Rico. She had been abandoned and was desperately trying to survive on her own. She was very happy to go home with one of our volunteers and is now a happy, healthy and affectionate little girl in search of a home of her own. Mila is as sweet as they come. She weighs 16 lbs. and is about 18 months old.

	Name: Lorenzo Age: 3 months Breed: Dachshund/Terri Sex: Male Available: soon
Notes: Lorenzo was rescued at a very young age with his mother and siblings when they were spotted in the streets of Puerto Rico trying to survive after being abandoned. Lorenzo is now a very happy, healthy, playful and affectionate little puppy, ready for a home of his own. He is now three months old and weighs seven lbs. He has a long body and short little legs.

Notes: Leah is Lorenzo's sister and is as sweet as they come. She is happy, healthy, playful, sweet and affectionate. She is three months old and weighs 5 lbs.

To adopt any of our dogs please fill out an adoption form and indicate which dog(s) you are interested in. Please be advised that filling out an adoption form is not a contract or agreement of you adopting that pet. It's purpose is to obtain information and find a suitable home that BEST matches that particular animal. Adoption fees range from $150 to $650 depending on care provided to the pet, i.e.; spaying/neutering vaccinations. Please know that the adoption fee only covers part of the cost we spend for these animals. Most of these dogs do travel from Puerto Rico to their new homes.
